Kaélé's work explores art as both subject and medium. Situated at the intersection of conceptual art, fine art and urban art, his practice draws on the history of art—its works, ideas and figures—as raw material for new creations. Combining traditional artistic forms with contemporary technologies, from painting to artificial intelligence, his work continually examines the relationship between the artist, the artwork and the creative act itself.
Once their first piece is created, the artist begins to exist. With each new creation, they are reborn.
Who gives birth to whom—the artwork or the artist?
